Vector XL Line Description: The Ballistic “Vector XL” Spey Lines are designed larger waters
and lend themselves to advanced casting techniques due to optimized front and
rear tapers. Incorporated in the design is the natural growth of line length
with line weight, since these proportions are typically inherent in most rod
designs, too. This concept of line growth with line weight generally provides
the best fit of rod and line, since larger weight rods tend to be longer.

The Vector Design is for a
smooth, powerful, and consistent layout performance, even during long casts.

 The design goals for the Vector
XL were as follows:

• Mid to long belly class;
• Balanced flight characteristics (shoot-ability);
• Long distance roll-out and stretch (straight layout)

• Excellent big river fish-ability

 10 ft. longer per line weight
compared to the original Vector with integrated holding/running line.

 

The Vector XL series embodies
all of those goals.
