For novices and advanced fly fishing anglers alike. Spend an hour or two with Certified Casting Instructor Gary Davison to improve on your casting technique, add distance to your cast or put some new tricks in your casting repertoire. This hourly private instruction is intended to give personal hands-on guidance and is a great way to drop old habits and set in motion new skills that will make your time on the water more enjoyable. Advanced reservations necessary, equipment can be provided.

Cost: $75 per hour

Lessons can be provided on the water using 22′ Pontoon boat with casting platform.

Cast & Fish Package

At “Seven Coves on Lake Conroe”

Gulf Coast Spey LLC located at Seven Coves is offering a Cast & Fish Package to all residents and visitors at “Seven Coves” on Lake Conroe. You will receive a one-on-one extensive casting lesson on Lake Conroe. Start with a min. 2-hour casting lesson then two hours of actual fishing. You’ll have the opportunity to put the casting you’ve learned into an actual fishing situation. The total cost for the trip will be $ 200.00. This day trip to fish on the water is not a guided fishing trip. It is just a fun day on the water to improve your casting skills and just maybe catch some nice fish in the process.

Boats available for the Lake Conroe Trip:

22’ Crest Pontoon with casting platform, or an 18’ Ankona Polling Skiff. The 22’ Pontoon is much bigger, so it can accommodate anyone you wish to share a day on the water with a casting buddy. An additional $50.00 for casting buddy on the trip. The 18’ Skiff can only accommodate one client.

We can target the following fish during the day: Perch, Bass, Stripped Bass, Catfish, & Crappie. Gulf Coast Spey LLC can supply all the equipment needed for your trip on the water, or you have the option to provide your own tackle.

Texas Parks & Wildlife requires all out of state and Texas residents to have a valid Texas Fishing License.
